Who handles your data

The data controller is Ing. Ivan Řezáč, registered at Polipsy 89, 285 22 Čestín, Czech Republic. For anything concerning your personal data, write to svatbyvlese@gmail.com — we have no other contact point for these matters and need none.

We have not appointed a data protection officer. The processing is small and simple enough that the law does not require one.

What we hold about you

Through the enquiry form we receive your name, your email address and the text of the message you write to us. We ask for nothing else and we look up nothing else about you.

To keep robots away from the form, the server remembers for a few minutes the IP address a submission came from and counts how many arrived. It lives in memory only, is never written to storage and is never tied to your message.

We use no tracking or advertising cookies and we do not measure traffic. The cookie page has the details.

Why we process it

We process your data solely to answer your enquiry and agree with you on what happens next. The legal grounds are your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, and negotiations about a contract carried out at your request.

The short-lived processing of your IP address rests on our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse. Without it the inbox would fill with spam and your message would drown in it.

We do not use your data to send marketing messages, and we neither sell it nor pass it on for anyone else to advertise to you.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry and the correspondence that follows for as long as we need it to deal with your question and to show what we agreed on. If the enquiry turns into a booking, the retention period follows the statutory limits for accounting and tax records.

The anti-spam records about form submissions disappear on their own within minutes.

You can ask us to erase your data sooner at svatbyvlese@gmail.com and we will do so unless a legal obligation stands in the way.

Who else sees it

We use the Resend service to deliver email. The text of your message and your address therefore pass through its system — otherwise no confirmation would reach you and no enquiry would reach us.

The site runs on the Netlify platform, which processes the technical data needed to deliver a page, typically your IP address and browser details.

Resend and Netlify are both United States companies, so your data may be processed on servers outside the European Union.

We pass your data to nobody else. To public authorities only where the law obliges us to.

What does not happen here

We make no automated decisions about you and we do not profile you. A human reads your message and a human answers it.

The pages load no fonts, maps or scripts from third-party servers. The fonts ship with the site, so your browser never reports in anywhere else while you are reading.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted and to receive it in a portable form. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interest and withdraw your consent at any time — withdrawal does not affect what we processed beforehand.

Writing to svatbyvlese@gmail.com is enough. We will handle it without undue delay.

If you believe we mishandle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority: Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, Czech Republic.

Changes to this policy

When the way we process data changes, this page changes with it and the revision date at the bottom moves. On request we will send you the version that applied when you wrote to us.
